Dentist in Juno Beach Fl | Improving Your Oral Hygiene Routine

Some patients think brushing twice a day is enough to maintain proper oral health. Unfortunately, it takes a more extensive oral health routine in order to attain optimum oral health. Here are three steps that you should include in your oral hygiene routine. If you are in need of a Dentist in Juno Beach FL, contact us today!

Brush at Least Twice a Day

Most people brush daily, but not enough to keep teeth clean. In order to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy, its crucial to brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes. If you have a hard time of keeping track of the two minutes, set a timer as you brush or listen to a short song.

Floss Correctly

It’s crucial to not only floss daily but to also floss properly in order to reach bacteria and food that’s stuck between your teeth. Floss should rub against the teeth in a motion that creates a forward or backward ‘C’ shape, wrapping the floss around each tooth.

Use Mouthwash

It’s important to include mouthwash into your dental routine. Mouthwash can reach the bacteria that floss and brushing could miss, leaving your teeth and gums thoroughly clean.
