Dental Cleaning in Juno Beach Fl | 3 Benefits of Regular Dental Cleanings

When you skip regular dental visits and cleanings, you are not only neglecting your oral health but your general health as well. Here are three of the many benefits that come from regular dental cleanings. If you are overdue for a dental cleaning, contact our office for a dental cleaning in Juno Beach FL today!

Prevent Cavities

When you skip your dental cleanings, plaque builds on your teeth. Plaque eats away at tooth enamel and, if left unattended, can lead to cavities. Keeping up with your dental appointments and dental cleanings can remove plaque and keep it under control.

Helps Overall Health

Studies show that there is a clear connection between oral health and general health. Regular dental cleanings may help lower your risk for some diseases, like heart disease and stroke. Therefore, when you neglect your oral health, you are also neglecting your overall health.

Prevent Tooth Loss

Gum disease is the main culprit of tooth loss for adults. As gum disease advances, plaque moves further down the tooth where it can destroy the supporting bone in your jaw, causing teeth to loosen and fall out. You can prevent tooth loss by making your oral health a priority and visiting your dentist regularly.
